January 2009
Wychwood's January's Ale - 3.8% ABV
Crystal malt produces a warming amber colour & combined with the addition of Challenger & Northdown hops provide this session beer a distinct quaffable character to toast away the New Year blues.
Ringwood XXXX Porter– 4.7% ABV
A smooth-drinking dark ruby beer
with rich smoky aromas of roasted Maris Otter malt and Fuggles, Challenger,
Goldings and Progress hops. XXXX Porter was first brewed at Ringwood in 1981 and
this style of beer was so named due to its popularity with the river and street
porters of London.
Jennings Cross
Buttock – 4.5% ABV
NO IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK! Cross Buttock takes it's name from
a well known Cumbrian wrestling throw. A
well balanced all malt bitter, rich in colour, with a classic hop character that
is both refreshing and satisfying.
