THE DOG & GUN, SYSTON, LEIC’S
KAMAGRA had been suffering all week! We’d all got colds and sore throats. We were really hoping we could still put on a good show and give everyone a decent night.
The place was packed, so we knew from the off we couldn’t let any of our fans down. With Lemsip, and Throat lozenges at the ready we threw ourselves into it.
The dancers were off from the very first song. It looked like it could turn into a great night!
The first set went really well with the audience joining in with ‘sweet home Alabama’ and ‘I got the music in me’. We also got some great comments about our version of ‘Sweet child of mine’.
The second set was amazing, everyone seemed to love the heavier stuff. The Led Zepplin and AC/DC tracks went down really well, and as for ‘She Sells Sanctuary’ well the crowd just went wild! I think it’s safe to say that it was a fantastic night the audience was great and that’s what it’s all about!!
If we see you lot are having a great time, it makes it all worth while!!
Thanks to all the staff at the Dog & Gun, you worked really hard on the night and made us feel really welcome. Thanks also for looking after Ken’s (the drummers) birthday cake.
Yes it’s true he’s now the oldest rocker in syston and soon the world!!!!
Playing again at the Dog & Gun later in the year so checkout the website, or look out for the posters, see you all soon
