19th January 2008
If you were looking for a cracking good night out on Saturday 19th January the Syston Social Club was the place to be. The Blues and Rock night was a complete sell out, with many people still trying to gain entry on the night.
The atmosphere was buzzing, everyone was in a party mood, we just knew it was going to be a great night. KAMAGRA got the show started. We were determined to put on a great show and judging from the feed back received that’s just what we did.
Next up was Bob Dayfield's Blue Swamp Southern a fantastic rhythm and blues band, plenty of slide guitar and foot stomping tunes, absolutely brill!!
Highlight of the night was when both bands got together and played their version of “Johnny B Goode” and “Honkey Tonk Women”, the crowd loved it ,and I’ve got to say so did we!!
Special thanks to Nick Huff for organising the night and of course all our fantastic fans for supporting us, it wouldn’t be the same without you!!
